Freedom Point Mama

Hey there!  Thanks for stopping by!  I'm just a simple, southern mama, living and loving life in a small town.  In my forties, I've found myself unexpectedly going down the rabbit hole of adoption, trauma, rare diseases, sensory processing disorder, food allergies, adhd, and now, homeschool!  In the last 2 years I've read more, learned more, cried more, laughed more and loved more than in my entire lifetime!  Friends have told me along the way that I should write a book, but you'll learn soon enough, I don't have time for that! Instead, I'm starting this blog as a way to document our journey and possibly provide a "light" for some of you on a similar path, chasing balance and freedom.  There's sure to be lots of Jesus, rambling and frustration mixed in with humor, delight and silly celebrations.  I'm also a wife to a hunky outdoors-man, a step-mom, a Mimi to 9 precious humans, virtual teacher and a doggy mama to 3 unique wire-haired point
